IN MEMORIAM

None of us are immune to the cycle of life, nevertheless, we rejoice in the fact that as true believers, death simply means: being absent from the body and present with the Lord! 

We remember those who have gone before us and we hope that in living, we live our lives as dutifully in God's service as our brothers- and sisters-in-Christ once were.  

They have moved from labor to reward and are now forever in His care.              

It is with deep sorrow that we said good-bye to our Sister-in-Christ,Joan Annie Elizabeth Greenleaf King, on March 19th, 2008.  Sister King was not only a well-respected and well-educated retired Killeen ISD school teacher with two Master's degrees in pursuit of her Doctorate, but she was a strong supporter of the Young People's Division and major participant in the Women's Missionary Society here at Thomas Chapel.  In fact, many may not know that she and her husband George King were among Thomas Chapel's founding members.
